Launched in 2021, Gem’s House Consultancy specialises in providing services to both the private and public sector of the hospitality industry, offering a tailored, hand-picked international private chef service, fine produce service and a restaurant and hotel consultancy. We believe in supporting the needs and desires of our clients the Gem’s House way – which is nothing less than perfection. We go above and beyond to produce results for our clients.
Erren Nathaniel-Gem is a professional Michelin Star trained chef based in London, with over 15 years’ experience in the private and public sector of the hospitality industry.
Erren first started his culinary journey in some of London’s most acclaimed restaurants, including The Ivy, Launcheston Place, 1 Michelin Star The Orrey, 3 Michelin Star Helen Daroze, Maido (number 7 in the world’s 50 best restaurants), 1 Michelin star Viajante and 28-50 Wine and Workshop, where he rose to Head Chef.
After working in the public sector, Erren soon realised that he had an interest in the private chef industry, where he went on to work extensively for UHNW individuals and families in the UK, as well as abroad. Known for his diverse creativity, forward thinking and wealth of experience, Erren has been fortunate enough to have travelled around the world, developing concepts and consulting for restaurants and hotels in Dubai, North America, South America and the UK. Having acquired intensive experience within both the public and private sector of the hospitality industry, Erren decided to launch Gem’s House Consultancy – offering bespoke international private chef recruitment, fine produce and expert consultancy services delivered through a modern, tailored approach, going above and beyond to provide only the best for his clients.
Ilze Mensiga is our Dubai-based recruitment director with an extensive background in the hospitality industry. Ilze has been instrumental to our growth, she is responsible for running the recruitment cooperation in the UAE, concentrating on client/candidate relations and headhunting.
Latvian-born Ilze relocated to Dubai 7 years ago and fell in love with the hospitality industry, where she worked as a customer service relations manager for the renowned Bulldozer Group. Travelling for most of her professional career IIze enjoys dining in some of the world’s finest restaurants, and in her free time enjoys water sports.
